The Cargo Exchange
The exchange
Lanka Belter and Rensik took the cargo job from the market notice board in Port of Asgoth.
They met Maren at the Brass Bell. Maren arranged the exchange. They did not meet Sera Morn, who had posted the request.
They followed the northwest road through the Asgoth Lowlands and reached the ferry without trouble. Joran Pell argued about the fare because he thought it covered his whole caravan.
Lanka and Rensik persuaded him to pay the higher price. They explained the mistake with the cargo and exchanged the crates. Joran rewarded their help. They then returned to Maren for the agreed payment.
Original notice
CARGO EXCHANGE - URGENT
Joran Pell’s wagon left yesterday with my crate, while his crate now sits in my harbor store. The wagon moves slowly and has only one day’s lead, but the road beyond town has dangers. Catch the wagon, exchange the crates, and bring mine back before I sail at week’s end. Ask for Sera Morn at the east quay.
