The Logging Camp

The logging camp stands in the wooded hills northwest of Port of Ascot, north of the coastal road through the Ascot Lowlands. Woodcutters live and work here. A track connects the camp to the road.

Food wagons supply the camp. A request on the market notice board seeks escorts for the next delivery.

An abandoned trapper’s hut stands on the edge of the camp. Logs form its walls, with old furs covering the roof. Someone has broken through the back window. Inside, bloodstains mark a room with three beds, a central fireplace, and cooking tools. Traps lie outside the hut.

An ore mine lies farther inland, where the wooded hills meet the mountains.

A goblin camp and a smaller cave lie farther into the wooded hills toward the mountains.
