West of Babel

Explore together and practise languages in person.

West of Babel brings people together to play Dungeons & Dragons and practise languages, mainly French and English. English serves as our shared language. We also encourage you to use other languages you want to learn. You can make mistakes here. You do not need to speak well or have played Dungeons & Dragons before.

We use real-world languages to represent languages in the game. Read about language at the table for more details.

Adventures and reports

Our adventures start in Port of Asgoth. Players choose where to go and what to explore. Each session starts and ends at a safe home base. Read the campaign structure for the session rules.

Players share what they discover in campaign events. These reports record their adventures and changes in the world, helping others plan future trips.
