Baldur’s Gate North Sea Company

The Baldur’s Gate North Sea Company comes from Baldur’s Gate, far beyond the Rift. As one of Port of Ascot’s main trading partners, it has a strong influence on the town from a great distance. It neither founded nor rules Ascot.

The company’s enormous floating ships seldom visit. Each carries a large amount of cargo. Their arrival draws curious crowds and celebration: they bring unusual goods and stories from Toril.

The company has a large guild presence in a wealthy part of Ascot. Its people keep their work secret. The ships take special rocks from the inland country back with them. People in Ascot know about these exports, but the company does not explain their purpose. When asked, its representatives avoid giving a clear answer.
